FEATURE: Topical exhibition at LeSa Gallery‏

Up and Under: the art of rugby is the title that Sheyne Tuffery has given to an exhibition which has just opened at his LeSa Gallery in Petone. He says that this is really a great opportunity to make work about a current hot topic. It is an exhibition of small to medium framed and unframed paintings; works on paper and small sculptural pieces, all based on the concept of our national game and includes work by Gisborne based Lina Marsh, together with Chris Van Doren and Sheyne Tuffery who are both based in Wellington and others.

Opening this week is an exhibition by Sopolemalama Filipe Tohi at Mangere Arts Centre. This survey will demonstrate the diverse medium that this artist has worked in over the last twenty years. Not to be missed!
