Koehuhu he matua fifine, mothers milk, 2008,
‘Koe huhu he Matua Fifine’ celebrates the link between a mother (the pacific) and her child (the land). The milk that flows (the Pacific Ocean), nourishes, sustains and nurtures both mother and child. The Lapita patterns trace their fingerprints and movements throughout the Pacific. When worn, this lei will comfort and protect the children of the Pacific.
