MIT will run free creative writing workshops. The workshops will be led by poet Robert Sullivan and provide a taster to the new Diploma in Creative Writing beginning in 2011. These exciting courses provide students with the opportunity to acquire the basic skills to write creatively across a number of genres and with a New Zealand, South Auckland focus.

Chris Van Doren is a Wellington based sculptor of Niuean and Dutch descent. His sculptures are navigational studies that make reference to the ancient seafarers of the Pacific but also mirror his own navigation and journeys on a personal level.
