Curated with assistance from Tautai, the exhibition features artists Fatu Feu’u, Lonnie Hutchinson, recent winner of the 2011 Small Sculpture Prize, Chris Charteris with a beautiful carved basalt stone, Niki Hastings McFall, Kay George and Andy Leleisi’uao with one of his distinctive mixed media installations.
Painting, work on paper, sculpture, mixed media and installation works were contributed by Lily Laita, Sheyne Tuffery, Tui Hobson, Chris Van Doren, Luc Tutugoro, Loloma Andrews and Siliga Setoga. New generation artists exhibiting include Cerisse Palalagi, (painting) Leanne Clayton (fans) Lina Marsh (embroidery) and Marlaina Key (photography).
