  • Tautai Accounts Administrator

    Tautai Contemporary Pacific Arts Trust is recognised as a major contributor to the support and development of the Pacific arts community.

     

    We are seeking someone to join our team in a new part-time role providing accounting support in the Tautai office.

     

     

    Key responsibilities include preparing accounts for payments, invoicing and receipting, use of the Xero accounting package to record financial transactions, and generally maintaining the accounting records for Tautai.  Assistance will also be given to clerical aspects related to the program of artist support undertaken by Tautai.  In a collegial team there will be other tasks as required to support the functioning of the Tautai office and reporting to the Board of Trustees.

     

     

    This is a part time fixed term role for eight hours a week and some flexibility in regard to when the hours are completed each week can be discussed. You will work from our office which is located at Level 1, 300 Karangahape Road Auckland.

     



    Key skills

     

    The successful candidate will be someone who is a highly motivated, loves numbers, works well autonomously, and gives meticulous and systematic attention to detail. They will have good experience in basic accounting and clerical/office procedures, and proficiency with Xero will be ideal.

     

     

    Pacific artists are the focus of Tautai. We deliver a broad and expanding program aimed at providing artists from secondary school age through to senior established artists with professional development opportunities and art related events to support and inspire them in their artistic lives. We are keen to hear from people who have the experience and skills to fulfil this new role in Tautai and contribute to our support of pacific art and artists.
