• Teaching Past The Frangipani

    Join Us For Our Fono:

Teaching past the Frangipani addresses the current framing, resourcing and delivery of Pasifika arts and stories within the NZ arts curriculum. During this fono we will present the findings from our ‘Spiral of Inquiry’ (an education review method) in relation to the effectiveness of literacy strategies within an arts context.

    Community Consultation:

We are seeking feedback and input from our community, including practicing Pasifika artists, curators, industry experts, community arts groups, students, and primary, secondary and tertiary practitioners.

    Community Participation:

Engaging with our community will help us to create innovative programs and learning strategies that will aim to lift Pasifika student performance within the arts and achievement nationwide.

    What You Can Expect:

A chance to actively engage in talanoa surrounding the arts curriculum and the positing of Pasifika arts within this framework.
