Tauhi Vā is the latest group exhibition of Auckland-based Tongan artist’s collective No’o Fakataha. It explores the ways they – and invited guests – tend relationships with people, and through art, across time and space. The resulting works, many of which feature decorated barkcloth (ngatu), give material form to socio-spatial relations.
