Isaiah Swann

Isaiah Swann

Isaiah Swann is an interdisciplinary artist representing the villages of Tamakautoga in Niue, Vaini in Tonga and Rakiraki in Fiji. Emerging from a family of creatives, Saiah’s practice is embedded in his love for pattern, expressed through printmaking, digital art and collaging. In recent developments of his practice, Saiah invites the camera lens and the interplay of light to collaborate with traditional languages of pattern, to reimagine and extend the capacity through which tapa can hold space for the stories our people.
