Portia Haddon is an artist and writer of Ngāti Kuri descent, whose practice is grounded in finding ways to express the everyday dreams, reflections, and desires of women. Her work seeks to uncover the beauty and resistance in lived experiences that may seem unremarkable or meaningless. Portia’s research explores the politics of imagination through an inquiry into feminist storytelling and postcolonial theory.
